This sophisticated microbus, which is built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and can seat up to 25 passengers plus driver, is now on the road.
Pamplona, 29th May 2018. Last Thursday, following years of investigation, work and tests, Integralia, a well-established company and international leader in the minibus bodybuilding sector, presented its innovative ONE model, the only microbus to be built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a seating capacity of up to 25 passengers plus driver.
At the event, held at the well-known Pago de Cirsus winery (D.O. Navarra), the company handed over the first 25-seater ONE model to Sergio Jorge García. This director of La Palmita, a leading company in Gran Canaria dedicated to minibus transport services, declared that he was proud and excited to be the first to enjoy this vehicle.
The day got underway with a speech by Óscar Lana, the General Manager of Integralia, who emphasised that “ONE has been an ambitious challenge for all the team, but it’s now a reality. If at all possible, this model is even more innovative than all our earlier ones and we believe that it’s set to revolutionise the sector. It’s the perfect combination of space, quality, harmony, innovation, design, comfort and maximum performance. A unique microbus, designed to convey emotions and sensations that invite passengers to repeat the experience.”
During the presentation, Iñigo Leach, the new Director of Marketing, Communication and Sales at Integralia, also addressed those present, declaring that he was really excited to be part of this project and to be at this event, which represented a landmark for Integralia and for the sector as a whole. Leache talked about the first deliveries of ONE and the new communication campaign, under the claim ‘We did it’, reflecting that “ONE represents the finishing line of a tough journey in which each step forward has been celebrated as a milestone. And challenges like these are only achieved with drive and determination”.
Ángel Ruiz, Director of the Engineering Department, closed the presentation with a detailed talk on ONE and its competitive advantages. “This model is a completely new concept and a paradigm of technological innovation, based on a demanding and thorough study of the legal restrictions for a vehicle of these characteristics.” The company conducted advanced studies on interior space, lighting, ergonomics, material durability, amongst others, while always taking account of the maximum permissible weight of 5.5 tons. He also highlighted the major technological developments: “We’ve turned to sectors that implement advanced technology in order to apply it to our vehicle, combined with our own designs. An example of this consists in the development of an interface which simplifies the vehicle operation and is extremely practical.”
Integralia has dedicated a great deal of time and effort to this vehicle, and now it is finally on the market. ONE will allow the company to continue to expand internationally, targeting the key markets of Spain, France and Germany, where it is currently taking great strides forward to strengthen its commercial activity and relations with customers and potential customers. Integralia expects to continue to grow in these countries while, at the same time, the company is looking at other markets in which business opportunities have been identified.
