– This new concept of minibus has been constructed using materials such as stainless steel and carbon fibre
The countdown has already begun. Today at FIAA, Integralia introduced its latest creation: ONE. On a Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis and with a 2+2 configuration for 25 passengers and 5.5t, it is an entirely new concept of minibus, and one in which the company has invested almost 2 million euros. “Possibly the most ambitious and significant project in the history of our company”, states Oscar Lana, “a dream come true”.
“We wanted to rewrite the rules of the game, not just in terms of passenger capacity, but also in our drive for cutting-edge materials applied to the vehicle as a whole”, comments the Engineering Director, Ángel Mª Ruiz. The ONE bodywork is assembled on a stainless steel structure, designed to ensure durability and to reduce costs in terms of vehicle maintenance. Latest-generation materials have also been used in its construction, such as carbon fibre, which allows for a lighter and more resistant vehicle.
It is a spacious vehicle that offers more cabin room for passengers and a generous hold. It represents an investment in ergonomics, passenger and driver comfort. For safer driving, a wider control space has been envisaged, a panoramic windscreen and a very intuitive interface with more features.
ONE, explains Ángel, is “a new, ground-breaking design, a “unique space” that faithfully represents the Integralia philosophy”. A far from conventional design, with lateral lines that stand out for their dynamism and a rear that is outstanding for its led pilot lights and its upper wing. The internal lighting is innovative and different, with leds developed to improve colour reproduction, and with it, the atmosphere for the passengers.
ONE can be seen at FIAA until Friday 26th May, where other Integralia vehicles are also displayed, benchmarks in aesthetics and functionality: The in-vip model, the ultimate expression of the Integralia philosophy and the winner of national awards, as well as being recently nominated for the Minibus Euro Test Award; one in-tourism, for 18 passengers and a second in-tourism in PMR version with a cassette-type ramp for up to 22 passengers. All constructed especially for the FIAA and dressed up for the occasions.
